We like antique shower doors. Whenever we can find old original doors in good condition, we will buy them and offer them up for sale to people who would like to incorporate them into their bathroom restoration projects. These doors are always heavy, usually with chrome or nickel plated heavy brass frames, and often with old untempered glass panels. They must be transported standing up or sideways on edge so as not to break. They are never flawless. They will show signs of age, perhaps with missing screws, or a dent or nick in the metal. But we will not offer them if they have any serious "issues". Last updated - April 14, 2008

Here is a pair of doors that were removed from a ca. 1930 home in Southern California. They are complete with striker moulding. The latch plates on the strikers say Cochran Co. and there is no other identifying name on either door. These have a beautiful heavy cast ornamental decoration. Drip sill is present on both doors as are all four original handles. They are very heavy doors. Size is 23 1/4" including hinge frame by 68" tall including the decoration. Price - $1950 for pair.
